2019 Holiday House Hamptons

Exploring the 2019 Holiday House Hamptons is a wonderful way to spend a summer afternoon in the Hamptons, especially since the proceeds benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (founded by Evelyn Lauder). The modern barn-style estate in Water Mill was decorated by several truly talented interior designers and is definitely worth a visit before it closes on August 4th. Scroll through my favorite detail shots and I hope you have the chance to experience it yourself!

Make An Entrance

Your home is your escape from the world and should bring you comfort from the moment you walk in the door. Whether you are coming home to a place in the city, country, or beach your foyer should be a true reflection of your personal style. Browse through a few foyers that inspire me and pay attention to the key pieces that pull the space together: console, bench, mirror and lighting. Artwork is also a great alternative to a mirror, and wall treatments are great for city apartments to add modern visual interest without adding artwork.

Family Day Trip

One of our favorite nearby spots to visit for a day trip is Rowayton, CT. We love stopping into the town's classic market to enjoy a coffee (or one of their delicious sandwiches for lunch) while overlooking the boats on picturesque Five Mile River, and afterwards taking Dapper, our puppy, for a walk around the town's idyllic streets. We always feel relaxed and at peace near the water, which allows us to have some quality family time without the hustle & bustle of the big city. Scroll through some pics of the market as well as a few of our dream houses in the Rowayton/Darien, CT area.
